# Beacon API Coverage

> Expand GoGuardian Beacon alert coverage by connecting Gmail, Google Docs, and Outlook APIs, enabling analysis across personal devices and non-browser access.

Connect the Gmail, Google Docs, and Outlook APIs to extend GoGuardian Beacon's coverage beyond school-issued devices to personal devices and native mobile apps.

All API coverage options require Beacon Core or Beacon 24/7 licensing.

## Gmail API

The Gmail API allows GoGuardian Beacon to analyze emails sent through managed Google accounts on any device, including personal smartphones.

## Google Docs API

Google Docs Coverage allows GoGuardian Beacon to analyze student activity in Google Docs on any device. Coverage extends to all devices and native apps, beyond browsers with the GoGuardian extension or app.
