# Review Alerts on Mobile

> Beacon's mobile-friendly web interface gives all users immediate access to alert cards from any phone browser — no app download required.

GoGuardian Beacon's mobile website provides access to student safety alert cards from any phone browser. Mobile-friendly alert cards are available to all Beacon users automatically — no separate setup is required.

  Confirm that your phone's browser does not have "Request Desktop Website" enabled. Instructions are below.

## Access Alert Cards on Mobile

Two methods are available:

1. Click the URL link in a Beacon email or SMS notification.
2. Go to [beacon.goguardian.com](https://beacon.goguardian.com) in your phone's browser and select the alert card from the All Alerts feed.

## Review What Is Available on Mobile

All of the following are accessible on mobile alert cards:

* Student name and email address
* Predicted phase
* Rationale tab, including screenshots
* Browsing History tab, including screenshots
* Previous Actions Taken tab
* Other Alerts tab
* Notes tab, including the ability to write a new note
* Parent or guardian information (when applicable)
* Toggle actions taken
* Select a risk level
* Download as a PDF

## Review Mobile Limitations

The following functions are accessible on a desktop or laptop browser but are not currently available on mobile:

* Snooze an alert
* Provide feedback through "Did we get this right?"
* Go to deployment Settings
* Go to the Dashboard Overview

## Navigate Out of an Alert Card on Mobile

Click the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner of the page. From the menu, select where you want to go:

* All Alerts for the deployment
* GoGuardian Privacy Center
* GoGuardian Beacon Help Center
* Sign Out of Beacon

## Set Your Browser to Request Mobile Website

If alert cards appear in desktop layout on your phone, confirm that your browser is set to request the mobile version of websites.

    1. Go to [beacon.goguardian.com](https://beacon.goguardian.com) in Safari.
    2. Tap the **AA** button in the address bar to open the Page Menu.
    3. Confirm that **Request Desktop Website** is not selected.
    4. Under **Website Settings** for beacon.goguardian.com, confirm that the **Request Desktop Website** toggle is turned off.

    Both settings must be configured for the mobile layout to display correctly.

    1. Open the Chrome app and go to [beacon.goguardian.com](https://beacon.goguardian.com).
    2. Tap the three-dot menu in the upper right corner.
    3. Confirm that **Desktop site** is not checked.

    If it is checked, uncheck it to return to the mobile view.
