This article explains how to read the Usage Trends chart in GoGuardian Discover. Use this workflow to understand how app usage changes over time for your selected filters.

## Locate Usage Trends

1. Go to **Discover**.

2. Click **Dashboard**.

3. Find the **Usage Trends** chart in the dashboard analytics section.

4. Confirm that the chart displays data for your current filters. The X-axis shows dates in your selected date range. The Y-axis shows the selected usage metric value.

**Can Discover tell me why usage changed on a specific day?**

No. Discover shows usage data over time, and you decide how to interpret the trend based on your local context.
