# Enable Manifest V2 Extension Support

> Configure the Manifest V2 enterprise policy in Google Admin Console, Active Directory, or Intune to keep GoGuardian extensions running during the V3 transition.

Google's Manifest V3 platform is now active for Chrome extensions. GoGuardian is redesigning its extensions to fully support Manifest V3. Until that work is complete, organizations deploying GoGuardian extensions must enable a **Manifest V2 extension availability** enterprise policy to prevent disruptions.

<Note>
  Update Google Chrome to the latest version on your devices before enabling Manifest V2 support.
</Note>

<Warning>
  Google has identified unexpected behavior on Chrome version 123 that disables self-hosted extensions (including GoGuardian) when a user's managed Google account is signed into a non-managed or personal Windows or Mac device. Update to Chrome version 124 or roll back to version 122 to resolve this. See [Google Chrome issue 331061788](https://issues.chromium.org/issues/331061788) for details.
</Warning>

  Repeat these steps for all OUs that have the GoGuardian Extensions deployed. Sub-OUs may inherit this setting from parent OUs, so verify and reapply to individual OUs as needed.
