# Access Student Account
> View a student's account by proxying into it or linking it to yours, without affecting the student's test results or standards report data
Teachers can access student accounts by using a proxy or linking the student's account to theirs. Please note test results populate the standards report when a test is assigned to a student account. You can avoid skewing the report by unassigning the test after reviewing it.

## Proxy into Student Account
1. Click **Manage Class** in the navigation menu.
2. Click on a class name.
3. Hover on a student's row.
4. While hovering, click the **View as Student** button at the end of the row.
Note: You will not be able to open a student’s test. You will only be able to check that the test has been assigned.
## Link Student Account
1. Click **Manage Class** in the navigation menu.
2. Click on a class name.
3. Click **Add Student**.
4. Fill out the relevant details and click **Yes, Add Student** to create the student account.
5. Click on your avatar in the navigation menu.
6. Click **Switch Account**.
7. Click **Add Another Account**.
8. Sign in with the new student account.
9. Confirm the account is now available in the navigation menu > your avatar > **Switch Account**.
