# Add Classes to Pear Assessment

> Create one or more classes in Manage Class, including grade, subject, and standard sets, with optional advanced settings for dates, courses, and tags.

Teachers can add one or more classes under the Manage Class section in Pear Assessment.

## Add Classes to Pear Assessment

In Pear Assessment, teachers can add one or more classes under the Manage Class section.

## Add Classes

1. Click **Manage Class** in the navigation menu.
2. Click **Create Class**.
3. Add your class details with the following information:
   * Class Name
   * Grade
   * Subject
   * Standard Sets
   * School
4. Expand **Advanced Settings** to add start and end dates, courses, and tags (optional).
5. Click **Create Class**.

Note: Pear Assessment does not allow a class section to contain multiple subjects. Only one subject may be associated with a class section. We recommend that users not select **Other** for Subject. If you teach multiple subjects, please create a different class section for each of those subjects. This will help keep your standards report separate and orderly.
