# Add Co-Teacher

> Grant another teacher access to your class so they can enroll students, assign assessments, and manage grades alongside you.

Co-teachers can be added in Pear Assessment > **Manage Class** > class name > **Add Co-Teacher**. You can add as many co-teachers as needed to a class.

## Add Co-Teacher in Pear Assessment

In Pear Assessment, you can add one or more co-teachers to a classroom if they have a new or existing Pear Assessment account. A co-teacher has the following permissions in the class:

* Enroll students
* Sync students from third-party integrations
* Add, remove, and edit students
* Assign and grade assignments
* Share the class with another teacher
* Archive the class

## Add Co-Teacher

1. Click **Manage Class** in the navigation menu.
2. Click on the class name.
3. Click **Add Co-Teacher** in the toolbar at the top of the window.
4. Enter a teacher's name, email, or username.
5. Click on the populated information.
6. Click **Add**.

Tip: You can view which co-teachers have been added by visiting that specific class.
