# Auto-Redirect Assignment
> Set a score threshold so students who fall below it are automatically redirected to retake an assignment, with controls for attempts and exceptions.
With Auto Redirect, you can set an assignment's **Score Threshold** for success and automatically direct students to attempt the assignment again when they don't meet the threshold. The setting can be found in **Assignments** > click on a class name > **Settings** > **Enable Auto Redirect**.
## Auto-Redirect Assignment in Pear Assessment
With Auto Redirect, you can set an assignment's **Score Threshold** for success and automatically direct students to attempt the assignment again when they don't meet the threshold. Please note the following:
* Auto Redirect is a premium/enterprise feature
* The feature is off by default
* If enabled, the feature is active until the test closes unless manually disabled in the **Live Class Board**
* The feature overrides a test's **Maximum Attempts Allowed**
* Absent students will be excluded from Auto Redirect
* If the test is paused, it will not auto-redirect until the test is resumed
* **Score Threshold** and **Maximum Attempts Allowed** can be updated at any time without loss of data
## Set Up Auto-Redirect
1. Click **Assignments** in the navigation menu.
2. Click on a class name.
3. Click the **Settings** tab.
4. Toggle on **Enable Auto Redirect**.
5. Enter a single or double-digit percent score for **Score Threshold**.
6. Enter the number of retakes for **Extra Attempts Allowed** when students don't meet the threshold.
7. Click **Update** at the bottom of the screen.
