# Bulk Unassign Assessments as Admin

> Remove open assessments from multiple students or classes at once with the Live Class Board, which also deletes all associated student data.

In Pear Assessment, administrators can unassign assessments in bulk from multiple classes or students. Unassigning an assessment is different than deleting it. Unassign removes the open assessment from the student dashboard and removes all data associated with the class/student.

## Bulk Unassign Assessments as Admin

In Pear Assessment, administrators can unassign assessments in bulk from multiple classes or students. Unassigning an assessment is different than deleting it. Unassign removes the open assessment from the student dashboard and removes all data associated with the class/student.

Please note that unassigning them results in a loss of student data for the assessment.

## Bulk Unassign

1. Click **Assignments** in the navigation menu.
2. Click on a test name.
3. Select students by checking the boxes next to their names in the **Live Class Board** tab.
4. Click **More** > **Unassign Students**.
5. Confirm the unassign by completing the on-screen instructions.

Tip: Students cannot be removed from an assessment in "Done" status.
