# Print an Answer Key
> How to print a test answer key from an assignment or the test library in Pear Assessment
Printing an answer key is a premium feature available at the bottom of the assessment in the print view. Tech-enhanced items and constructed response answers do not print with the answer key.
## Print an Answer Key
The steps depend on whether you have already assigned the assessment.
**If you have already assigned the assessment:**
1. In Pear Assessment, navigate to **Assignments**.
2. Find the assessment you want to print.
3. Click **Actions** > **Print Test**.
**If you have not yet assigned the assessment:**
1. Navigate to the **Test** library.
2. Find the assessment you want to print.
3. Hover over the assessment name and click **More** > **Details**.
4. Click the printer button to open the print options.
5. Select what you want to print.
6. Navigate to **File** > **Print** in your browser and select your printer to complete the process.
You can also press **Ctrl+P** (Windows) or **Command+P** (Mac) to open the print dialog. To save the assessment as a PDF, select a PDF printer in the print dialog.
## Why Tech-Enhanced Items and Constructed Response Answers Do Not Print
Tech-enhanced items and constructed response answers are not supported in the printed answer key format. These item types require interactive or open-ended input that cannot be represented in a static print layout. Only multiple-choice and similar closed-response items appear in the printed answer key.
