# Print Test or Save as PDF

> Export a test for offline use by printing it or saving it as a PDF, with options to include a custom item count or answer key.

In Pear Assessment, you can print a test or save it as a PDF for offline viewing. The **Print Test** button lets you print to your preferred printer or save the test as a PDF regardless of browser.

## Print Test or Save as PDF

1. Click **Assignments** in the navigation menu.
2. Click **Actions** for an assignment, then select **Print Test**.
3. Select **Complete Test** or **Custom**. If you select **Custom**, enter the number of items to include in the printout.
4. Select or deselect **Print Answer Key**.
5. Click **Print**.
6. In the new tab, click **Print**.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your printer and print the test. To save it as a PDF, set **Destination** to **Save as PDF** and then click **Save**.
