Search Pear Assessment with Tags
Tags, or searchable keywords, can be added to items, tests, classes, and student groups. When a group of teachers or a whole district uses tags, it makes searching in Pear Assessment easier and quicker.
Tags, or searchable keywords, can be added to items, tests, classes, and student groups. When a group of teachers or a whole district uses tags, it makes searching in Pear Assessment easier and quicker.
Unique tags for common assessments can help site and district administrators provide precise viewing of in-progress assessments. For example, a district wants all Fall Math Benchmark tests to display by themselves on the Assignments screen. If the assessments are labeled with a unique tag, you can search by the tag to filter the Assignments page to only the tests.
Add Tag to Items
- Click Items in the navigation menu.
- Add a new Item or edit an existing Item.
- Enter a tag in the text field under Description > Tags.
Add Tag to Tests
- Click Test in the navigation menu.
- Add a new test or edit an existing test.
- Enter a tag in the text field under Description > Tags.
Add Tag to Classes
- Click Manage Class in the navigation menu.
- Click on a class name.
- Click the ellipsis menu > Edit Class.
- Enter a tag in the text field under Tags.
Add Tag to Student Groups as Admin
- Sign in to Pear Assessment as a district or school administrator.
- Click Manage District in the navigation menu.
- Click Groups > Student Groups.
- Click on a group name.
- Click the ellipsis menu > Edit Group.
- Enter a tag in the text field under Tags.
- Click Update.
On the screen for each feature mentioned above, you can navigate to Filters > Tags and then find the tag by scrolling through the menu or searching for it.
