# Share Class with Co-Teacher

> Add a co-teacher to a class so they can enroll students, assign work, grade submissions, and manage the class alongside you.

In the **Manage Class** settings, you can click on a class and then **Add Co-Teacher** to share the class with a teacher. Please note that co-teachers must have a Pear Assessment account to be added.

## Share Class with Co-Teacher in Pear Assessment

In Pear Assessment, you can add a co-teacher and share a class with them. When you share a class with a co-teacher, they have the following permissions:

* Share the class with another teacher
* Enroll students or sync accounts
* Add, remove, and edit students in a class
* Assign assignments to students
* Grade assignments, release scores, print assignments, generate report cards, and all assignment tasks
* Archive the class

Please make sure that the co-teacher has an account in Pear Assessment before following the steps below.

## Add Co-Teacher

1. Click **Manage Class** in the navigation menu.

2. Click on the class name under the **Classes** tab.

3. Click **Add Co-Teacher** in the toolbar.

     You can also add co-teachers from the three-dot menu > **Add a Co-Teacher**.

4. Enter the co-teacher's name, username, or email address.

5. Select the teacher from the dropdown list when the field populates.

6. Click **Add**.

  You can add multiple co-teachers to any number of classes. You can view which co-teachers have been added by visiting that specific class.
