# Switch from Clever to Canvas Sync

> Migrate class sync from Clever to Canvas by connecting existing or new Pear Assessment accounts to your Canvas district and syncing classes to the Dashboard.

Switch from Clever to Canvas Sync in Pear Assessment

In Pear Assessment, you can switch from a Clever integration to Canvas. Teachers with existing Pear Assessment accounts must go to their current Pear Assessment classes and select the Canvas sync button. Teachers without a Pear Assessment account must select a school, grade, subject, and standard before syncing Canvas.

## Switch from Clever to Canvas Sync in Pear Assessment

In Pear Assessment, you can switch from a Clever integration to Canvas. Teachers with existing Pear Assessment accounts must go to their current Pear Assessment classes and click the Canvas sync button. Teachers without a Pear Assessment account must select a school, grade, subject, and standard before syncing Canvas.

## Teachers with Existing Pear Assessment Accounts

1. Sign in to Pear Assessment from your Canvas district > **Courses** tab > **Pear Assessment App** button. Existing Pear Assessment accounts will open to the **Dashboard**, where classes and assessments are found.
2. Click **Manage Class** in Pear Assesment.
3. Click on a class name that you'd like to sync with Canvas.
4. Click the **Canvas** button to sync the class.
5. Select the course and section where the class will be synced to Canvas.

  Repeat the steps when a student joins or leaves your Canvas class.

## Teachers with New Pear Assessment Accounts

1. Sign in to Pear Assessment from your Canvas district > **Courses** tab > **Pear Assessment App** button.
2. Select a school within your school district to continue.
3. Select a grade, subject, and standard to personalize Pear Assessment administration and reports.
4. Confirm classes have synced from Canvas to the Pear Assessment **Dashboard**.
