# Unassign Students from Assessments

> Remove individual students from an active assignment using the Live Class Board without affecting other enrolled students.

Teachers can unassign students from assessments in **Assignments** > click on the assignment name > **Live Class Board** > select student > **More** > **Unassign Students**.

## Unassign Students from Assessments in Pear Assessment

Unassigning students from existing assessments in the Live Class Board.

## Unassign Students

1. Click **Assignments**.
2. Click on the assignment's name.
3. Click the **Live Class Board** tab.
4. Select the student by clicking the checkbox next to their name.
5. Click **More** > **Unassign Students**.
6. Confirm your actions and type **Remove**.
7. Click **Yes, Remove**.
