# Upload Student Work

> Allow students to photograph and submit handwritten work during an assessment, then review uploaded files per question in the Live Class Board.

Teachers can ask students to show their work on paper and then upload it using the **Upload Work** feature. The uploaded work is available for teacher review in the Live Class Board.

## Review Uploaded Student Work as a Teacher

1. Click **Assignments** in the navigation menu.
2. Click the assignment name.
3. In the **Live Class Board** tab, click a student's name.
4. Under each question, click **Student Work** to view the uploaded file.

## Upload Work as a Student

When a student completes their work on paper, they can take a photo and upload it directly from within the assessment. The **Upload Work** feature is available on any device with a camera.

1. Click **Upload Work** in the assessment.
2. Grant Pear Assessment access to your device's camera when prompted.
3. Hold your work up to the camera and click **Take Picture**. A three-second countdown will snap the photo.
4. Confirm the photo appears under **Attachments** in the assessment. You can upload a photo for each question or submit all work under a single question.
5. Click the photo's name to verify it is legible. To redo the photo, click the **X** button to delete the attachment, then click **Upload Work** again.
