# Post Pear Practice Assignment to Google Classroom

> From Pear Practice, you can post an assignment to Google Classroom, where students can click the assignment's link to open it.

## Post Pear Practice Assignment to Google Classroom

From Pear Practice, you can post an assignment to Google Classroom, where students can click the assignment's link to open it in Pear Practice. Assignments turned in by students are updated in Pear Practice and Google Classroom. Teachers and students need to sign in with their Google single sign-on account to access assignments.

From Pear Practice, you can post an assignment to Google Classroom. When you post the assignment, students can click the assignment's link in the Google Classroom Stream and open it in Pear Practice. Assignments turned in by students are updated in Pear Practice and Google Classroom.

To post an assignment, please sign in to Pear Practice with your Google account, give Pear Practice access to your account, and link your Pear Practice class to Google Classroom. The access lets Pear Practice:

* Manage coursework and grades for students in the Google Classroom classes you teach and view the coursework and grades for classes you administer
* View the email addresses of people in your classes
* View your Google Classroom class rosters
* View your Google Classroom classes

## Create New Assignment and Post to Google Classroom

You can create an assignment from a class in Classrooms or a Practice Set in My Library. For consistency, the steps below explain how to create it from Classrooms.

1. Click **Classrooms**.
2. Click the name of a class.
3. Under **Assignments**, click **Create Assignment**.
4. Select a Practice Set to apply the assignment.
5. Set a start date by clicking **Now** or entering a day and time.
6. Select a day and time for students to turn in the assignment.
7. Select a minimum **Accuracy Goal** to complete the assignment.
8. Select **Assign Practice Set to Google Classroom**.
9. Click **Authorize with Google** and follow the on-screen instructions. The button won't show if you previously gave access.
10. Click **Create Assignment**.

Note: Assignments posted to Google Classroom for students not signed in to Pear Practice show as Sign In | Pear Practice.

## Post Active Assignment to Google Classroom

Active assignments can be posted to Google Classroom by editing their existing settings.

1. Click **Classrooms**.
2. Click the name of a class.
3. Under **Assignments**, click the name of an active assignment.
4. Click the ellipsis button > **Edit Assignment**.
5. Under **Assign to Classroom**, select **Assign Practice Set to Google Classroom**.
6. Click **Authorize with Google** and follow the on-screen instructions. The button won't show if you previously gave access.
7. Click **Save Assignment**.
