# Search and Filter Practice Sets in Your Library

> Use search and filters in Pear Practice to quickly find practice sets by keyword, grade, subject, or standard.

Your Pear Practice library holds every practice set available to you, sets you created, sets shared with you, and sets from the broader Pear Practice community. Search and filter options let you narrow that list so you can find the right set without scrolling through everything.

## Search by Keyword

1. In Pear Practice, select **Test** in the navigation menu.
2. In the search bar next to the navigation menu, enter a keyword or skill name.
3. Results update as you type. Select a practice set from the results to preview or assign it.

## Apply Filters

Filters let you scope results beyond a keyword search. You can combine multiple filters at once.

1. Select **Test** in the navigation menu.
2. Select the filter panel next to the navigation menu.
3. Under **Filters**, choose one or more of the following options:
   | Filter         | What it shows                                            |
   | -------------- | -------------------------------------------------------- |
   | Entire Library | All practice sets created by the Pear Practice community |
   | Created By Me  | Practice sets you authored                               |
   | Shared With Me | Sets shared by teachers in your district or school       |
   | I Am An Author | Sets where you are listed as a co-author                 |
   | My Favorites   | Sets you have saved from previous searches               |
   | Folders        | Sets organized into folders                              |
4. Use the additional filter categories to narrow results further:
   * **Grades**: filter by grade level
   * **Subject**: filter by subject area
   * **Standard Set**: filter by a standards framework
   * **Standards**: filter by individual standards within the selected framework
   * **Collections**: filter by curated collections
   * **Test Category**: filter by assessment type
   * **Tags**: filter by tags applied to practice sets
5. After selecting your filters, review the updated results and select a practice set to open it.

  If you cannot find a practice set, check whether a filter is still active. Clearing all filters will restore the full list of sets available to you.
