# Set Up Teacher Profile

> Teacher profiles are populated with your Practice Sets from the Explore tab. 

## Set Up Teacher Profile

Teacher profiles are populated with your Practice Sets from the Explore tab. You can share the profile on your X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, or LinkedIn accounts, or anywhere via a direct link. 

The profile also supports different permission types, including public access that lets anyone on the internet see it, only Pear Practice users access it, or private to you. Viewers can preview a set you shared in the Public Library, copy the set to their private library, share your profile on social media, or link to it.

To celebrate your contributions to Pear Practice, we created a teacher profile for you and populated it with your Practice Sets from the Explore tab. You can share the profile on your X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, or LinkedIn accounts, or anywhere via a direct link. 

The profile also supports different permissions, including public access that lets anyone on the internet see it, only Pear Practice users access it, or private to you. Viewers can preview a set that you shared in the Public Library, copy the set to their private library, share your profile on the social media accounts or link to it, or follow your profile to receive notifications when you publish a Practice Set to the Public Library.

## View Your Profile

You can see your profile by clicking your avatar near the navigation menu > **My Profile**. It shows:

* Name
* Region
* Grades
* Subjects you teach (if available)
* Practice Sets you shared in the Public Library
* Your followers, which you can click on to see
* Whom you're following, which you can click on to see

## Set Custom URL for Your Profile

1. Click your avatar > **My Account**.
2. Click **Profile**.
3. Under **Profile Settings** > **Edit Your Custom URL**, write your preferred URL, such as "tylerthornrose."
4. Click **Save** to update your current URL to the preferred URL.

## Change Your Profile Permissions

1. Click your avatar > **My Account**.
2. Click **Profile**.
3. Under **Profile** > **Customize Who Can View Your Profile**, select one of: **Public Profile**: Visible to anyone on the internet unless they try to see a practice Set, which requires sign-up **Pear Practice User Access**: Viewable only by users with a Pear Practice account **Private Access**: Only you can see your profile
4. Click **Save**.

## Edit Your Profile Information

1. Click your avatar > **My Account**.
2. Click **Profile**.
3. Under **Profile** > **Customize What Appears in Your Profile**, toggle on or off: Display your Pear Practice Statistics Display the Grade(s) that you teach Display the Subject(s) that you teach Display the Region that you teach in
4. Click **Save**.

Tip: You can confirm your settings by looking at the eye next to the toggle button. A line through it means the information isn't available to viewers.

## Share Your Profile

1. Click your avatar > **My Profile**.
2. Click the share button.
3. Click one of: **X (formerly Twitter)** logo **Facebook** logo **LinkedIn** logo **Copy Share Link**
