# Access Chat Logs

> How GoGuardian administrators can find, view, and export historical Teacher chat logs between teachers and students in Org Management.

GoGuardian administrators can access records of GoGuardian Teacher chat logs between teachers and students in the [Chat Log](https://manage.goguardian.com/chat-logs) section of Org Management.

<Note>
  Chat history from the past 6 months is available. Chat logs between a teacher and student remain available even if the class has been deleted or the student has been removed from the class.

## Find Chat History

1. Go to the [Chat Log](https://manage.goguardian.com/chat-logs) section of Org Management.

2. Select a **Teacher Name**, **Student Name**, and a **Date Range** (up to 1 month at a time), then click **Apply Filters**.

3. Click **View Log** next to any result to see the chat transcript between the teacher and student for that date.

## Email a Chat Report

From the transcript view, administrators can email a chat history report in either PDF or CSV format.

  Administrators can only send emails to other GoGuardian users within their organization.
</Note>

## Review Activity in Audit Log

Chat Log activity, including searches, views, and exports (emails sent), is captured in the Audit Log. Click the **+** icon next to any Audit Log entry to see more details.
