# Close a Tab

> How to close a student's browser tab during an active class session using GoGuardian Teacher.

The Close Tab command lets you close a student's browser tab during class. Use it to remove distracting tabs or tabs that aren't relevant to the current lesson.

## Close a Tab

1. Click a student's tile in the **Screens** view of an active class to expand their screen view.

2. Find the tab you want to close under the **Student Activity** list.

3. Click **Close Tab** on the tab you want to close.
