# Export Chrome Policy JSON

> How to export Chrome policy information as a JSON file to share with GoGuardian Technical Support.

When working with the GoGuardian Technical Support team, an agent may request Chrome policy information from a student's device. The easiest way to provide this information is by exporting the data as a JSON file and sending it to the agent via chat or email.

1. Confirm that the student is signed in to their school-provided account.

2. On the student's device, type `chrome://policy` into the address bar, then press **Enter**.

3. Click **Export to JSON** in the top left corner.

4. Save the file to the desktop with a descriptive file name (example: `yourschool-policy.json`).

5. Send the file to the support agent via chat or email to confirm the information was received.
