# FAQ: Refresh a Student's Scene

> How to refresh a student's Scene when they have a conflicting Scene applied from another teacher.

Students can be in multiple, overlapping GoGuardian Teacher class sessions at once, but can only have 1 Scene applied at a time.

Students who join a class while another teacher's Scene is active, or who have a new Scene applied during an active class, may not have the same Scene as the rest of the class. A conflict icon appears on the student's tile to indicate their Scene doesn't match yours.

## Refresh a Student's Scene

When a student is affected by another teacher's Scene, a yellow banner appears at the top of the class view with a **Refresh Scene** button.

Selecting **Refresh Scene** updates every student in the class to your Scene. The most recently applied Scene takes priority when there's a conflict.

You can also refresh manually at any time by setting Scenes to **No Scene** and then reapplying the Scene you want.

<Note>
  For more information on Scene conflicts and status indicators, see [Scene Conflicts](/products/teacher/scene-conflicts).
