# Take a Screenshot
> Capture a screenshot of a student's screen during a GoGuardian Teacher class session, and download or save screenshots to Google Drive.
Use the Screenshot command to capture a student's screen view during class. Screenshots are saved automatically and can be viewed, downloaded, or saved to Google Drive.
## Capture a Screenshot
1. During an active session, click a student's tile to expand their screen view.
2. Click the **Screenshot** button.
3. The screenshot is saved automatically. Confirm it appears when you access the Screenshots tab.
## Access Screenshots from the Current Session
1. Go to the **Screenshots** tab during an active class session.
2. Click **Download** to download the screenshot as a JPEG file.
3. Click **Save to Drive** to save the screenshot to your Google Drive.
## Access Screenshots from a Past Session
1. Select the classroom that contains the screenshot.
2. Click the **Sessions** tab.
3. Select the class session during which the screenshot was taken.
4. Click the **Screenshots** tab.
5. Click **Download** or **Save to Drive**.
