Add Numerical Question to My Practice Set
The Numerical question type prompts students to answer with numbers.
In your Practice Set within My Library, you can add Numerical questions that prompt students to answer with numbers. They also offer GIFs, images, audio, and video as context to the questions, helping students learn in multiple styles.
Add a Numerical Question
- Click My Library.
- Click on a set within Practice Sets.
- Click + Add > Numerical.
- Set up under Number Response:
- For Prompt, write a question for students to answer
- Click + Add Media to add multimedia content, such as GIFs, audio, and video
- Enter the answer under Correct Response
- Add a value under Prefix, such as the leading number of the answer
- Write a value under Suffix, such as the final number of the answer
- Select This item requires higher-order thinking to mix varying questions into students’ individual practices that encourage them to think analytically
- Click + Add Feedback to open the Feedback tab
- Configure for Feedback:
- Add personalized or AI-generated feedback for students to see after completing the question for Feedback Text
- Upload or paste content to add context to the feedback provided to students
- Click + Add Standards to switch to the Standards tab
- Under Standards, filter standards by their name, collection, state, grade, or subject, and then click the checkbox next to the standard’s name to select it.
- Click Save and Close.
