Write Text Response Question in Practice Set
The Text Response question type prompts students to write their responses.
In My Library, you can add a Text Response question to your Practice Set. It supports GIFs, images, audio, and video as context to the questions, helping students learn in multiple ways.
Add Text Response to Practice Set
- Click My Library.
- Click on a set under Practice Sets.
- Click + Add > Text Response.
- Set up under Text Response:
- For Prompt, write a question for students to answer
- Click + Add Media to upload or paste an image, GIF, audio, or video
- Enter the answer for Correct Response
- If more than one possible response, click Add Alternate Correct Response
- If partial credit is given, select Enable Partial Credit
- Select This item requires high-order thinking to mix varying questions into students’ individual practices that encourage them to think analytically
- Click + Add Feedback to switch to the Feedback tab
- Add under Feedback:
- Add personalized or AI-generated feedback for students to see after completing the question for Feedback Text
- Upload or paste content to add context to the feedback provided to students
- Click + Add Standards to switch to the Standards tab
- Under Standards, filter standards by their name, collection, state, grade, or subject, and then click the checkbox next to the standard’s name to select it.
- Click Save and Close.
