Mark a Device as Recovered
- Sign in to GoGuardian Admin and go to Theft Recovery.
- Locate the Detected device in the Active section.
- Click the three-dot menu in the device’s row and select Mark Recovered.
- In the Recover a Device window, select the OU to move the device back to.
- Confirm the move.
- Verify the result: The device moves to the Archived section and is listed as Recovered. A full Theft Recovery record, including all detection and recovery data, is saved for that device.
If a recovered device is lost or stolen again, you can track it by clicking Find Devices on the Active Theft Recovery page, or by moving it back to the Theft Recovery OU in Google Admin Console. See Track a Missing Device for details.
