Admin-Assigned Assessments
Admin-assigned assessments give administrators direct control over how and when assessments are distributed across classes.- Assign to classes in bulk.
- Eliminate accidental assigning or duplicating of questions used on shared teacher tests.
- Create specific times when the assessments can be opened or closed.
- Lock the assessment settings.
Use the teacher-assigned method if you plan to give unique tests or test settings per student within the same class (extended time, calculator, shuffle questions, and so on).
Teacher-Assigned Assessments
Teacher-assigned assessments give individual teachers more flexibility and control over how assessments are delivered to their students.- Assign assessments to specific students in classes, such as students with accommodations.
- Retain more flexibility after assigning the assessment.
- Hide questions from teachers before grading.
- Lock settings to require teachers to use the same settings.
Unless you are using District Custom Collections, assessments can be duplicated, resulting in data from multiple versions of assessments.
