If your administrator has already performed a domain install, you do not need to install the add-on individually. It already appears in your Google Classroom account. See Admin Install of the Pear Deck for Google Classroom Add-On for more information.This add-on requires the Google Workspace Teaching and Learning Upgrade or Education Plus edition. Contact your administrator if you are unsure which edition your school uses. See Google Workspace editions for a comparison.
Install the Add-On
- Open the Pear Deck for Google Classroom listing in Google Workspace Marketplace.
- Click Install.
- Review the permissions Pear Deck for Google Classroom requires and click Continue.
- Select the Google account you want to use with the add-on and click Allow.
- Click Done to close the installation window.
- Open Google Classroom.
- Verify the result: The Pear Deck for Google Classroom add-on appears in the Add-ons section when creating or editing an assignment. If it does not appear, try refreshing Google Classroom.
If you do not see an Install button — only an Admin Install button — your administrator has not granted individual install permission. Contact your administrator and ask them to either grant individual install access or perform the domain install.
