Super Users can add guardian accounts and link them to students one at a time through GoGuardian Org Management. To add multiple guardians at once, see Set Up GoGuardian Parent for CSV bulk upload instructions.

Add a Guardian

  1. Go to manage.goguardian.com and select Guardians.
  2. Click Add Guardian.
  3. Enter the guardian’s full name and email address.
  4. Optional: Enter a phone number.
  5. Optional: Turn on Enable SMS to allow SMS notifications for this guardian.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Verify the result: The guardian appears in the Guardians list.
After adding a guardian, link one or more students to create the relationship that appears in the app’s student chooser.
  1. Go to manage.goguardian.com and select Guardians.
  2. Click + next to the guardian’s name, then click Add Relationship.
  3. Enter the student’s name or email address and select it from the list.
  4. Enter the relationship type — for example, Mother, Father, Step-Father, or Guardian.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Verify the result: The student appears under the guardian’s entry in the Guardians list, and the student appears in the guardian’s app.
If GoGuardian Parent is already enabled when you create a guardian account, Parent App access is automatically enabled for that guardian. You can adjust access at any time from the Guardians list.
