Super Users can add guardian accounts and link them to students one at a time through GoGuardian Org Management. These relationships provide access in GoGuardian Parent and supply guardian contact information for GoGuardian Beacon alert cards. Add a Guardian

  1. Go to manage.goguardian.com in your browser.
  2. Click Parent & Guardians in the navigation menu.
  3. Click Add Guardian.
  4. Enter the guardian’s full name and email address.
  5. Optional: Enter a phone number.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Verify the result: The guardian appears in the Guardians list.
After adding a guardian, link one or more students to create the relationship that appears in the app’s student chooser.
  1. Go to manage.goguardian.com in your browser.
  2. Click Parent & Guardians in the navigation menu.
  3. Click + next to the guardian’s name, then click Add Relationship.
  4. Enter the student’s name or email address and select it from the list.
  5. Enter the relationship type, for example, Mother, Father, Step-Father, or Guardian.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Verify the result: The student appears under the guardian’s entry in the Guardians list, and the student appears in the guardian’s app.
If GoGuardian Parent is already enabled when you create a guardian account, Parent App access is automatically enabled for that guardian. You can adjust access at any time from the Guardians list. Guardian contact information linked to a student also appears on that student’s GoGuardian Beacon alert cards.
