Pear Assessment allows teachers and administrators to edit a test after it has been assigned to students. Edits are commonly used to fix incorrect answers or update content standards. If changes affect scoring, Pear Assessment prompts you to regrade the test so student results reflect the correction. To edit an assigned test, you must have one of the following:
  • Full permissions to all actions after the test has been assigned
  • Assigner and co-author status when the test was in a draft state
  • A test URL shared by an admin or teacher who has full permissions

Edit an Assigned Test

  1. Click Assignments.
  2. Click the name of the test you want to edit.
  3. Under the Live Class Board tab, click Edit Test.
  4. Edit the test as needed. Keep the following in mind:
    • Changes to scoring or evaluations trigger a prompt to regrade the test.
    • Changes made to tests in progress apply after students submit them.
  5. Click Publish to update the test for students.
