Secure Assessments with IP Gating in Pear Assessment
In Pear Assessment, formal assessments for a proctored classroom environment can be secured with IP address gating. The gating ensures that students can only take an assessment from authorized locations and applies only to assessments with passwords.
Set IP Address or Range
- Sign in as an administrator.
- Click Manage District in the navigation menu.
- Click Settings > District Policies.
- Enter an IP address, range, or wildcard under Allowed IP for Password Controlled Assessments. Please separate addresses with commas.
- Click Save.
