Pear Assessment lets you set a time limit on any assignment. Students are notified that the test is timed when they begin, and they are locked out when the limit expires. If a student exits the test before time runs out, the timer resumes where it left off when they re-enter.
Enable a Timed Test
- In the navigation menu, click Assignments.
- Click an existing assignment’s name, or create a new one.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Toggle on Timed Test.
- Set the time limit in minutes by entering a value or using the increment control.
- Enable or disable Allow Student to Save and Continue Later.
- Click Save.
