The Pear Deck for PowerPoint Online Add-in lets teachers add formative assessments and interactive slides directly to PowerPoint Online presentations. This guide is for administrators who want to deploy the Add-in to teachers in their organization. The Add-in is free, and teachers can create an unlimited number of presentations with it. Deploy the Add-in to Your Organization

  1. Before you begin, determine whether Centralized Deployment of add-ins works for your organization.
  2. Follow the instructions on the Microsoft documentation page Manage Deployment of Add-ins. Search for Pear Deck in the Microsoft Office store. You can deploy the Add-in to Everyone, Specific users/groups, or Just me.
  3. After deployment is complete, teachers who received the Add-in can open Pear Deck in PowerPoint Online by selecting Home > More options > Pear Deck.
Pear Deck is only available in the Online version of PowerPoint. The desktop application is not supported.
