What Is Included in Pear Practice Premium?

Pear Practice Premium unlocks additional practice set content, advanced reporting, and expanded gamification features. For a full list of what Premium includes compared to the free tier, see Premium Features in Pear Practice.

Do I Have Premium Through My District or Through a Personal Subscription?

Check your account to find out:
  1. Sign in to Pear Practice.
  2. Click your name or profile icon in the top right.
  3. If your account shows Premium, look for a label indicating whether it is a School or District license versus an Individual subscription.
If Premium was set up by your district, it is managed by your district administrator or subscription manager. If you purchased it yourself, you manage it through your account settings.

My Free Trial Ended. Do I Lose My Content?

No. When a free trial ends, your practice sets, class rosters, and student data remain in your account. You move to the free tier and lose access to Premium-only features, but your content is not deleted. If your district purchases a license after your trial ends, your account is restored to Premium when your email is added to the district license.

Why Does My Account Show Free When It Should Have Premium?

The most common cause is that your account email does not match the email on the district license. Contact your district admin or subscription manager to confirm which email address is on the license and to add your account if it is missing. If you purchased an individual subscription, sign in to Pear Practice, go to Account Settings, and check the subscription status. If the subscription is active but the account still shows Free, sign out and sign back in.

Can Students Customize Their Avatars?

Yes. Students can customize their avatar, character appearance, and profile in Pear Practice. Customization options are unlocked as students earn tickets through practice. Students exchange tickets for avatar items in the in-game store. The available items depend on the current season in Pear Practice. Teachers and administrators cannot customize student avatars on their behalf. Students must make their own selections.

Can I Turn Off Avatar Customization for Students?

Avatar customization is part of the Pear Practice engagement model and cannot be disabled at the teacher level. If your district has concerns about in-game purchases or avatar content, contact Pear Deck Learning support to discuss district-level options.

What Happens to Student Avatars and Progress When I Archive a Class?

Archiving a class does not affect student accounts or their avatars. Students retain their tickets, items, and progress when a class is archived. Their data is accessible if they are added to a new class in a future school year.
