AdDeflect access is included with GoGuardian Admin at no additional cost and is automatically provisioned for your organization. To use AdDeflect on a filtered network, turn on the AdDeflect toggle in that network’s settings.
Enable AdDeflect for a Network
- Go to GoGuardian Admin and select Filtering → DNS Networks.
- Click the pencil icon next to the network where you want to enable AdDeflect.
- Find the AdDeflect toggle in the network settings and turn it on.
- Save your changes.
- Verify the result: AdDeflect is active for all devices on that network. Ads from tracked ad hosts appear as gray “Advertisement” placeholders.
AdDeflect blocks ads based on a dataset of known ad-serving hosts. Pop-up ads from hosts not in the dataset may not be blocked. Ad coverage may vary by website.
