GoGuardian administrators can access records of GoGuardian Teacher chat logs between teachers and students in the Chat Log section of GoGuardian Org Management at manage.goguardian.com/chat-logs. Chat logs between a teacher and student remain available even if the class has been deleted or the student removed from the class.

Find Chat History

  1. Go to manage.goguardian.com/chat-logs. GoGuardian Org Management Chat Logs — filter controls for Teacher Name, Student Name, and Date Range
  2. Select a Teacher Name, a Student Name, and a Date Range (up to 1 month at a time).
  3. Click Apply Filters. Find Chat History
  4. Click View Log next to any result to see the chat transcript for that date.
  5. Verify the result: The chat transcript opens, showing the full conversation for the selected date.
From the chat transcript, you can email the report as a PDF or CSV. Emails can only be sent to other GoGuardian users within your organization. Find Chat History

Review Chat Log Activity in the Audit Log

Chat Log activity (including searches, views, and exports) is captured in the Audit Log. Click the + sign next to any Audit Log entry to view details. Review Chat Log Activity in the Audit Log
