In Pear Assessment, teachers can add an audio clip to a question, which is also known as an Item. Audio can be recorded or uploaded from a local device.

In Pear Assessment, teachers can add an audio clip to a question, which is also known as an Item. Audio can be recorded or uploaded from a local device.

Add Audio

  1. Click Item Bank in the navigation menu.
  2. Click New Item.
  3. Click the audio button in the editor under the Edit Mode tab.
  4. Click one of the following buttons in Pear Assessment:
    • Microphone: Record audio up to 5 minutes long. Please note the file will automatically attach to the question after you stop recording. You can delete it with the delete/backspace key on your keyboard.
    • Upload: Add an MP3 file from your device.
  5. Complete the rest of the settings for your question and save or publish it.
