In Live Class Board, teachers can add students to an existing assessment. To add a student to an assessment, the assessment should be assigned to the entire class and must be in the Not Open or In Progress statuses.

Add Students to Existing Assessments in Pear Assessment

In Live Class Board, teachers can add students to an existing assessment, such as when a student joins a class after an assessment has been assigned. Please note that when new students are added to a class that already has assessments in an active state (i.e., Not Open or In Progress statuses), they are automatically added to the assessment. To add a student to an assessment, the following conditions must be true:
  • Assessments should be assigned to the entire class
  • The assessment assigned to the class must be in the Not Open or In Progress statuses. Students are not automatically added for assessments in the In-Grading or Done statuses

Add Students

  1. Click Assignments in the navigation menu.
  2. Click on an assessment’s name.
  3. Click More > Add Students.
  4. Select the student in the class who does not have the assessment assigned.
  5. Select the time and date when the assessment closes.
  6. Click Add.
