Super Users can manage user accounts and permissions for multiple users at once using the bulk edit workflow in GoGuardian Org Management at manage.goguardian.com. The bulk update workflow has three steps:
  1. Download the CSV
  2. Edit the CSV
  3. Upload the updated CSV

Step 1: Download the CSV

Click the three-dot menu in the upper left corner of User Management and select Download CSV. Save the file to your computer, then open it in a spreadsheet editor.

Step 2: Edit the CSV

Using your spreadsheet editor, make the necessary user permission changes. Save and export the spreadsheet as a CSV file. Confirm that the CSV formatting is correct and all columns contain valid values. For more information on CSV columns and valid values, see the Formatting a CSV for Org Management article.
CSVs can be broken into smaller files, as long as each file includes the required column headers and is formatted correctly.

Step 3: Upload the CSV

  1. Click Upload CSV from the three-dot menu in User Management.
  2. Drag your CSV into the upload field, or browse to select it.
  3. Click Upload CSV.
Once uploaded, you’ll receive a confirmation message and any error messages the CSV triggered.

Bulk Update User Status

To bulk-update users’ status to Archived or Active:
  1. Click Download CSV from the three-dot menu in User Management.
  2. Save the CSV file.
  3. Edit the Status column, setting each value to Archived or Active as needed.
  4. Save and export the CSV file.
  5. Go to Org Management and click Upload CSV.
