Get started with Clever Library by signing up with a free account, which is upgradeable to Pear Assessment Premium, or merge your existing Pear Assessment account with your Clever email. All existing accounts are synced and merged when the sync is completed.

The following answers frequently asked questions (FAQs) about the Clever Library. Please note Clever Library is different from the District Clever sync.
Can I Upgrade to Pear Assessment Premium?
Yes. Sign up using Clever Library creates a free teacher account (unless you are on a school or district enterprise plan). You can upgrade to Pear Assessment premium once your account is created in Pear Assessment. Teachers can click the Upgrade button to trial the premium plan. Enterprise upgrades are handled by Pear Assessment sales representatives.
How Is This Different From District Clever Sync?
With this integration, teachers can discover, install, and sync with Pear Assessment for their individual needs. District-level Clever sync is not required.
Can I Still Use Clever Library if I Already Have a Pear Assessment Account?
Yes. Your existing account will be merged with Clever provided your Pear Assessment account email and Clever account email is identical. All your existing classes, data, and assessments will remain in the same account.
Is There Any Impact if Teachers Use Pear Assessment in Their Clever Library and Then the District Decides to Use Clever for District-Wide Sync?
No. When district-wide sync is done, your existing account will be synced using automated Clever sync. Once this is done, manual Clever sync is not required. Last modified on July 16, 2026
