In Pear Assessment, you can share a test with other teachers using a direct URL. The method you use depends on whether the test has already been assigned. Keep the following in mind before sharing:
  • When you create a test, it starts in Draft mode. The only way to share a draft is to add co-authors. The shareable link is not available to non-authors until the test is published.
  • Do not copy the URL from your browser address bar while editing. If the URL contains /verid/, it will not work for others.

Share a Test Before It Is Assigned

  1. Create a test and enter the test name, description, grade, and subject.
  2. Add at least one item to the test. Share settings are not available until an item has been added.
  3. Click Publish and Assign Later.
  4. Under Shared With, click Edit next to the private library (indicated by a lock icon) to open the Share with Others window.
Access 4.png
  1. Under Give Access To, select Link Sharing.
When Link Sharing is selected, the test URL changes from /verid/ to /view-test/. Share the URL that contains /view-test/.
  2. Select one of the following access types:
    • Limited Access: recipients can duplicate and assign the test
    • View and assign: recipients can view and assign the test
    • No Actions: recipients can view the test only
  3. Click Share.
