In Pear Assessment, you can share a test with other teachers using a direct URL. The method you use depends on whether the test has already been assigned.
Keep the following in mind before sharing:
- When you create a test, it starts in Draft mode. The only way to share a draft is to add co-authors. The shareable link is not available to non-authors until the test is published.
- Do not copy the URL from your browser address bar while editing. If the URL contains
/verid/, it will not work for others.
Share a Test Before It Is Assigned
-
Create a test and enter the test name, description, grade, and subject.
-
Add at least one item to the test. Share settings are not available until an item has been added.
-
Click Publish and Assign Later.
-
Under Shared With, click Edit next to the private library (indicated by a lock icon) to open the Share with Others window.
-
Under Give Access To, select Link Sharing.
When Link Sharing is selected, the test URL changes from /verid/ to /view-test/. Share the URL that contains /view-test/.
-
Select one of the following access types:
- Limited Access: recipients can duplicate and assign the test
- View and assign: recipients can view and assign the test
- No Actions: recipients can view the test only
-
Click Share.
Share a Test After It Is Assigned
- Navigate to the Assignments tab in the left sidebar and locate the assignment you want to share.
- Select Actions, then Share / Embed Link.
- Copy the link from the pop-up window that appears.
