If premium Pear Assessment features aren’t appearing when you expect them, the cause is usually a mismatch between your subscription and the account you’re signed in with. Here’s how to find and fix it.

Confirm Which Account You’re Signed In With

Premium access is tied to a specific email address. If you have more than one account, you may be signed in with the wrong one.
  1. Open assessment.peardeck.com.
  2. Open your account menu and confirm the email address shown matches the account your premium access is attached to.
  3. If it doesn’t match, sign out and sign back in with the correct account — using the same sign-in method (Google, Clever, or email) your district registered.

If Premium Comes Through a District or School License

District and school plans give premium features to every teacher and administrator in the organization. Your account must be part of that plan to receive access.
  • Confirm your email matches district records. Your account must use the same email address your district registered with Pear Deck Learning. If your work email recently changed, your old account may still have access while the new one doesn’t.
  • Confirm your account is on the plan. Ask your district’s account manager or IT admin to verify your account is included, and to add it if it’s missing.
  • Confirm the plan is active. District and school plans renew on a contract cycle. If a plan has lapsed, accounts revert to the free plan until renewal is processed — a billing or renewal question your account manager or CSM handles.

If You Purchased Individual Premium

Individual premium unlocks the Teacher Dashboard, advanced test security, and standards-based reporting.
  1. Open assessment.peardeck.com and open your account menu.
  2. Review your subscription status and the email address it’s associated with.
  3. If it shows active but premium features still don’t appear, sign out and sign back in.
  4. If it shows expired or canceled, renew it, or check the inboxes of any other accounts you use for a purchase receipt from Pear Deck Learning.

Free, Premium, and District — What’s Included

  • Free: Create and deliver assessments, author questions, share with colleagues, and grade automatically.
  • Individual premium: Everything in free, plus the Teacher Dashboard, advanced test security, and standards-based reporting.
  • District or school: Premium for everyone, plus common assessments at scale, shared item banks, district and school reporting, Data Studio, and SIS and LMS integration.

Contact Your Account Manager or Support

Billing, renewal, and plan-eligibility questions are handled by your district’s account manager or Customer Success Manager (CSM). If your account is confirmed to be on an active plan but premium features still don’t appear after the steps above, contact Pear Assessment support with your account email and whether your access is individual or through a district or school plan.
