GoGuardian Beacon sends SMS messages to users who have opted in to receive text message notifications for Beacon alerts. Only notifications enabled in the Staff Notifications section of Alert Preferences are sent.

Review Message Frequency

Message frequency is recurring. The number of messages depends on your Beacon notification settings and whether an alert is generated for your deployment.

Opt Out

To stop receiving Beacon SMS messages at any time:
  1. Log in to beacon.goguardian.com and go to Settings > Your Beacon Profile.
  2. Under Notification Format, uncheck Text Message.
  3. Click Save Changes. You will no longer receive SMS messages from GoGuardian Beacon.
To opt back in, follow the same steps and select the Text Message checkbox.
