Use filters in GoGuardian Discover to focus dashboard data by grade level, school, organizational unit (OU), operating system, classroom, or date range. The schools and grade levels available in Discover come from roster data supplied through Clever, ClassLink, or OneRoster in GoGuardian Org Management. Discover does not let you assign student grade levels manually.

Filter the Dashboard

  1. Go to Discover.
  2. Open the Dashboard page.
  3. Select one or more of the available filters:
    • Grade Levels
    • Schools
    • OU
    • OSes
    • Classroom
    • Date range
  4. Select the values you want to include.
  5. Click Apply.
Discover updates the dashboard to include data that matches all applied filters. For example, when you select a grade level and a school, the dashboard includes activity that matches both selections.
Discover hides Grade Levels when grade-level data is unavailable, such as when your organization has no supported roster integration in GoGuardian Org Management. Discover also hides Schools when school data is unavailable.

Clear the Grade Levels Filter

  1. Open the dashboard filters.
  2. Clear the selected grade-level value.
  3. Click Apply.
The dashboard returns to the scope defined by your remaining filters.

FAQ

Can I use more than one filter at the same time? Yes. Discover applies all selected filters together. Why is the Grade Levels filter unavailable? Discover hides Grade Levels when no grade-level data is available. Confirm that your organization has a supported Clever, ClassLink, or OneRoster integration in GoGuardian Org Management and that the roster source supplies student grade levels. Does the Grade Levels filter include earlier activity? Grade-level data is available for browsing activity collected on or after August 31, 2026. Earlier browsing activity does not include grade-level data. Where do I correct a missing or incorrect school? Update the school or roster association in Clever or ClassLink. Then run a roster sync from the Integrations page in GoGuardian Org Management. See Sync Rosters with Clever or ClassLink.
