Use the App Catalog in GoGuardian Discover to find apps and review usage for your selected scope.

Browse the App Catalog

  1. Go to Discover.
  2. Select App Catalog.
  3. Review the app list. Each row includes these columns:
    • App: The distinct application used during the selected date range and filter scope.
    • Unique Users: The number of distinct users who used an app during the selected date range and filter scope.
    • Avg. Usage Time: The average time spent per student using the app each week during the selected date range.
    • Last Used: The most recent date the app was used within the selected date range and filter scope.
Find low-adoption apps by clicking the Unique Users column header and sorting in ascending order.

Filter Apps by School

  1. Open the App Catalog filters.
  2. Select Schools.
  3. Select the school you want to review.
  4. Apply the filter.
The catalog includes apps and usage data that match the selected school and your other active filters. For more information about combining filters, see Filter Dashboard Data.
Discover hides the Schools filter when your organization does not have school data from Clever or ClassLink.

FAQ

Why do some apps show low usage? Low usage means fewer users opened those apps in the selected time period. It does not, by itself, indicate whether a license should be renewed or canceled. Can I export this list? You can export App Catalog data as a CSV file. See Compare App Usage Across Schools for a school comparison workflow.
