Performance bands categorize a student’s performance on a test based on results from local and state assessments. District administrators can create and manage performance bands in Manage District > Settings > Performance Bands.

Set Up a Performance Band Profile

  1. Go to Manage District in the navigation menu.
  2. Click Settings > Performance Bands.
  3. Click Create New Profile.
  4. Name the profile after a performance band.
  5. Click Create.
Click the pencil button to edit an existing performance band’s standards or add a new band to the profile, then click Save.
  • The first performance band must have a From value of 100 percent.
  • The last performance band must have a To value of 0 percent.
  • A minimum of two bands must be in the profile.
  • District administrators can enter percentages up to two decimal places.

Select a Default Performance Band

  1. Go to Manage District in the navigation menu.
  2. Click Settings > Test Settings.
  3. Select your preferred settings under Default Performance Band Profiles.
