The Close Tab command lets you close a student’s browser tab during class. Use it to remove distracting tabs or tabs that aren’t relevant to the current lesson.

Close a Tab

  1. Click a student’s tile in the Screens view of an active class to expand their screen view.
  2. Find the tab you want to close under the Student Activity list.
  3. Click Close Tab on the tab you want to close.
Click Close Tab on the tab you want to close.
It may take a few moments for the tab to close.
