Students can be in multiple, overlapping GoGuardian Teacher class sessions at once, but can only have 1 Scene applied at a time. Students who join a class while another teacher’s Scene is active, or who have a new Scene applied during an active class, may not have the same Scene as the rest of the class. A conflict icon appears on the student’s tile to indicate their Scene doesn’t match yours.

Refresh a Student’s Scene

When a student is affected by another teacher’s Scene, a yellow banner appears at the top of the class view with a Refresh Scene button. Selecting Refresh Scene updates every student in the class to your Scene. The most recently applied Scene takes priority when there’s a conflict. You can also refresh manually at any time by setting Scenes to No Scene and then reapplying the Scene you want.
For more information on Scene conflicts and status indicators, see Scene Conflicts.
