If you are the subscription manager of a school-wide Pear Deck Premium subscription, you can add, remove, and transfer teachers directly from your My Account page. Teachers added this way receive Premium access immediately but do not receive a notification email.
Domain-wide subscription managers do not need to manage individual teachers. Every user who signs in with your school’s domain automatically has Premium access.

Add Teachers

You can add one teacher at a time or upload a list of addresses in bulk. The email addresses do not need to match your school domain.

Add One Teacher

  1. Go to your Pear Deck Home My Account page.
  2. Select Your Plan.
  3. Scroll down to the Group Usage section.
  4. Click + Add One Member.
  5. Enter the teacher’s sign-in email address.
  6. Click Add.
  7. Verify the result: The teacher’s email appears in the Group Usage list. The total number of spots claimed increases by 1.

Add Multiple Teachers at Once

  1. Go to your Pear Deck Home My Account page.
  2. Select Your Plan.
  3. Scroll down to the Group Usage section.
  4. Click Bulk Add/Edit Members.
  5. Paste or enter the sign-in email addresses of all teachers you want to add, removing any addresses already in your Group Usage list.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Verify the result: All new addresses appear in the Group Usage list. The number of spots claimed updates accordingly.

Remove a Teacher

Removing a teacher from your subscription ends their Premium access under your school plan. Their Pear Deck account and existing presentations are not deleted.
  1. Go to your Pear Deck Home My Account page.
  2. Select Your Plan.
  3. Scroll down to the Group Usage section.
  4. Find the teacher’s account and click the X next to their email address.
  5. Click Remove User to confirm.
  6. Verify the result: The teacher’s email is removed from the list. The number of spots claimed decreases by 1, freeing the spot for a new user.

Transfer a Subscription to Another Teacher

To transfer a subscription spot from one teacher to another, remove the existing teacher first, then add the new teacher.
  1. Follow the steps in Remove a Teacher to remove the teacher vacating the spot.
  2. Follow the steps in Add One Teacher or Add Multiple Teachers at Once to add the replacement teacher.
  3. Verify the result: The new teacher appears in the Group Usage list with Premium access. The total spot count remains the same.
